An Ohio man who led a high-speed chase and search that started last night in Butler has been arrested, charged, and identified.
According to state police, troopers attempted a traffic stop of a white Hyundai Elantra last evening at the intersection of East Brady and North Monroe Streets.
The driver took off and led police on a chase into Oakland Township.
Police say the suspect then got out of his vehicle around the Davis Road area.
The man was eventually found and taken into custody earlier this morning and has been identified as 31-year-old Jumal McQueen of Youngstown.
McQueen has been charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, loitering and prowling at night time, and two summary offenses.
He’s being held in the Butler County Prison as he awaits a preliminary hearing; McQueen’s bail was set at $300,000.
