A private investigator in the disappearance of Cherrie Mahan is making another push for information.
Steve Ridge of Iowa offered a $100,000 reward last year for information in the case of Mahan, who went missing 41 years ago.
Ridge says he’s looking for two specific items: a blue backpack that belonged to Cherrie and Cabbage Patch dolls earmuffs, which she was wearing the day she disappeared.
He also said that “items like these are often kept as souvenirs” in cases like this.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
