Raymond A. Fisher, 82, of Butler, PA, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 24, 2025.
He was born on September 6, 1943, in Butler, PA, to the late Paul Lawrence Fisher and Mary Elizabeth (Patterson) Fisher.
Raymond graduated from Butler High School in 1961. He worked for Armco for many years before retiring from the Shipping Department in 2002. Raymond enjoyed bowling, birdwatching, and reading the newspaper. Raymond loved to dance and was even voted Best Dancer in high school.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 61 years, Denise Fisher, whom he married on August 15, 1964. He is also survived by 2 sons, Mike (Jackie) Fisher, and Rob (Carolyn) Fisher. Four Grandchildren, Brooke (Geoff) Aalberts, Laike (Ryan) Crawford, Cameron (Hannah) Fisher, and Jacob Fisher. He is also survived by one brother, Bill Fisher, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Patricia Balde, Paul L. Fisher, Donald Fisher, and Marianne Shearer.
Per Raymond’s wishes, everything will be held privately.
