Richard “Rick” J. Gregg Jr, 74, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was born in Butler on August 10, 1951, to the late Richard Gregg Sr and Viola (Rubis) Maxwell. Rick honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed as a painter at Butler Auto Auction in Cranberry.
Rick loved to ride his Harley and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Father of Jack Gregg, Paige Perdian and Olivia Gregg; brother of Darlene Gregg and Joy Thompson; grandfather of Hayden Gregg; Rick is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his son, David Gregg, and siblings, Daniel Gregg and Tammy Maxwell.
