Robert “Bob” Ackerman, 83, of Boyers went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. He was born in Patterson, NJ on November 8, 1942, to the late William and Catherine (Hopper) Ackerman. Bob was employed as truck driver. He loved spending time with his wife, children and animals. He and his wife were foster parents for many years. Bob enjoyed shopping, socializing, building things and working in the garage, riding his side by side and golf carts. He was known for always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Bob was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (Hawryliak) Ackerman; father of Toni (Gary) Barnett, Tami Shields; stepfather of Robert and William Hall; brother of Peter Ackerman and Kim Aiello; grandfather of 5; great grandfather of 5; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and in-laws. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his grandson.
