Traffic was delayed for a time yesterday after a crash on Evans City Road.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Evans City Road and Route 528/Lindsay Road in Jackson Township.
One person was injured in the two vehicle accident. That person was taken by ambulance to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Traffic was delayed for more than 30 minutes, causing backups for the evening commute.
