Sarah Louise Somerville Bush, 81, of Butler passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1944, in Oakland Township, Butler County, to the late Thomas J. Simpson, Jr. and Marian (Wilkewitz) Simpson.
Louise graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1961. She worked many years in the office of Dr. Blaine and Dr. Perschke at Family Foot Care, and for a period of time at Butler Eye Care.
Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat. She loved baking and was best known for her apple pies along with her famous Chocolate Chip, Candy Kiss, and Chocolate Crinkle Cookies. Family gatherings always included one of her baked goods.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Laura) Somerville and Kent (Kelly) Somerville; stepchildren, Daniel P. Bush, Geralyn Werner, Karen (Daniel) Snyder; grandchildren Jacob (Holland Leventhal) Somerville, Joshua Somerville, Jack Somerville, Brenda Bowser, Brandy Boulanger; nine step-grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Donald Stamm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bush, whom she married on January 18, 2002, died on December 3, 2014; her sister Carol Stamm; stepson Paul G. Bush and son-in-law, Eric Werner. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth B. Somerville.
