A group of local students are getting ready for a unique competition later today.
Seneca Valley High School’s Fencing Club is hosting a competition tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Seneca Valley Senior High Gym.
This is the first High School fencing completion to be held in Butler County. The club is newly formed as part of the Pittsburgh Interscholastic Fencing Association with 11 other schools who participate in tournaments. Male and female SV fencers in grades 7 through 12 are also members of the USA Fencing Association with the ability to compete in national competitions.
