Seneca Valley grad with connections to Grove City College hired as a manager in the Boston Red Sox organization

Former Seneca Valley High School graduate and Waynesburg University baseball standout Kyle Sasala has been promoted to acting manager of the Portland Sea Dogs, which is the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Sasala accepted a position in the Red Sox organization in 2024 as an infield coach with the Sea Dogs. He joined the Red Sox organization after a highly successful tenure at Grove City College, where he served as Associate Head Coach from 2016 to 2023.
