Multiple people were injured as a result of a crash Wednesday afternoon in Slippery Rock Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 3 p.m. for an accident at the intersection of Franklin and Branchton Roads.
Crews from Slippery Rock and Unionville arrived to find two vehicles involved with entrapment.
That portion of the road did need to be shut down for a time to allow crews to assist the motorists.
