Slippery Rock Golf’s McClellan low pro at Tri-State Open

He didn’t win the tournament, but took the top prize. Slippery Rock Golf Club Pro Rob McClellan was the low-pro at this week’s two-day Tri-State Open played at Southpointe Golf Club. He finished four strokes off the lead after 36 holes, but took the $10,000 top prize. Nemacolin Country Club amateur Brett Young won the Tri-State Open Tuesday at Southpointe Golf Club in a playoff over Diamond Run amateur Rick Stimmel. Young wins the Bob Ford Trophy as the tournament winner, and is the first amateur to win the tournament in six years.
