Nemacolin Country Club amateur Brett Young won the Tri-State Open Tuesday at Southpointe Golf Club in a playoff over Diamond Run amateur Rick Stimmel. Young wins the Bob Ford Trophy as the tournament winner, and is the first amateur to win the tournament in six years.
