Slippery Rock University will be increasing some student fees starting next school year.
Students will see fees jump in four different categories:
- Recreation complex will increase $20 per semester.
- The student center will go up by $10.50 per semester.
- Dining services will jump by $70 per semester.
- Traditional housing room rates are increasing by $35 per semester.
This is the first rise in fees since the 2017-18 school year.
University officials say the rise in prices reflects “inflationary pressures as expenses continue to rise.”
