Sprankle’s will not be hosting large scale events this year due to changes in operations.
After problems with the weather and changes in the family business, with the purchasing of a shopping plaza, the family decided to cancel all major events.
Doug Sprankle did say there will be a possibility of some smaller events but the large-scale events will not be happening and there is currently no decision on next year.
“We did it, and it was great. We love the fact that we got to engage with the community in a different way. All the great vendors and sponsors, and the people that attended the event were great,” Sprankle said. “Things change in life and we are focusing on what pays the bills and take care of our career and community.”
Sprankle’s three locations employs over 200 employees.
