State officials are asking residents to help clean up litter from the roads as the winter weather breaks.
The “Pick Up PA” initiative is a combination effort of state agencies to help keep communities clear and free of litter.
In addition to the environmental issues, the state is also promoting the litter cleanup ahead of a major tourism season.
Major events, including the NFL Draft, PGA Championship, and the World Cup are all happening in Pennsylvania this year.
