State Senator Elder Vogel is holding a food drive next month in honor of Hunger Action Month.
Vogel’s Cranberry Township and Rochester offices will be accepting unexpired, non-perishable food items through the end of September.
All of the collected items will then be donated to a local food bank.
Vogel is a co-chair of the legislative Hunger Caucus, which established the Capitol Hunger Garden in an effort to raise awareness of hunger across the state.
