State residents bought more wine and liquor last year than they ever have before according to a new report.
The Pennsylvania Liquor and Control Board released their finance report for the last fiscal year that saw $2.9 billion in sales.
That’s up about 13 percent compared to last fiscal year, which had sales disrupted by the pandemic.
Officials say the record number of sales have helped offset losses that the PLCB felt when they waived alcohol licensing fees.
