The Steelers will hold their annual “Friday Night Light’s” practice tonight at Latrobe Memorial Stadium beginning at 7pm. Seven regular practices remain at St. Vincent College after tonight’s event.
The NFL played its first pre-season game ever in July last night. The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Detroit Lions 34-7 in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. Chargers quarterback Trey Lance, now with his third team in his fifth season, threw two touchdown passes. Los Angeles scored twice in the first quarter, and had built a 21-7 lead at halftime.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will play their first exhibition game in Jacksonville a week from tomorrow, Saturday, August 9th.
