Today kicks off a new event highlighting the Cultural District in Butler.
It’s called Steeples and Stacks, and it’s an effort to showcase the art and architecture that has helped define Butler.
It starts this evening with a ticketed dinner on North Street that will feature a variety of foods from local restaurants and live music outside the City Building.
Saturday is open to the public with a variety of events throughout the Cultural District, including art shows, live music, and tours of churches.

Today parking on West North Street and in the City Building Lot is restricted from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tomorrow (Saturday) parking will be restricted starting at 9:30 a.m. and continuing until 7 p.m. on Main Street from Mckean to Washington between Jefferson and Brady and then in the lot next to Old Peoples building and N Main lot.
Detours Northbound will be available at Cunnigham and Southbound at Penn while both Jefferson and Brady will be open to cross traffic.
