It might be back-to-school time, but that doesn’t the summer road construction season is over.
PennDOT District 10 is working on several roads this week- doing work including patching, shoulder cutting, pipe replacement, and seal coating.
Some of the big projects include work on Route 422 in Summit and Clearfield townships; Prospect Road in Connoquenessing and Brady townships, and patching on a long stretch of Route 19 in Worth, Muddy Creek, Lancaster, Jackson and Cranberry townships.
Nighttime work is also continuing this week on Route 173 and Route 108 in Slippery Rock.
A couple of heavily-traveled roads in Concord Township are closed for road work this week.
Both Old State Road and Valley Road will be shut down between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday.
The work started Monday.
