The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue continued 2026 with tax collections totaling $4.8 billion last month.
Revenue from sales tax in February totaled $1.3 billion while personal income tax was $2 billion for the month.
The Motor License Fund received nearly $285 million for the month from gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine, and fee revenues.
September collections were nearly 13% more than anticipated or about $550 million over estimate, while the fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections remain nearly $530 million or nearly 5% over estimate.
