A Washington County man will not face charges following an accident involving a pedestrian earlier this week in neighboring Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, officers were called to the 600 block of South Center Street on Tuesday just before 5:30 p.m.
There they determined that the driver of a vehicle, 68-year-old Chuck Stumpf of McMurray was not at fault when a 15-year-old girl ran into the roadway and struck the side of his vehicle.
The girl was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Her condition is not known at this time.
