It was anything but a vanilla morning for first responders on I-80 early Wednesday morning, who had to deal with an icy clean up.
A tractor trailer that was carrying thousands of pounds of ice cream rolled over in the westbound lane of I-80 near the Emlenton Bridge.
Officials with the Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department say the truck was hauling 39,000 pounds of ice cream, of which many containers rolled onto the highway.
There were no injuries in the rollover and it took about 3 hours to clear the scene.
Emlenton Area Ambulance Service, St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Company, state police Clarion, Clarion and Venango PennDOT, and Hovis Truck Service assisted in the cleanup.
