Jury deliberations have determined that the accused Tree of Life synagogue shooter is guilty.
Both the prosecution and defense rested their cases around 2 p.m. Thursday in the trial against Robert Bowers which began May 30th.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, the prosecution called a total of 60 witnesses while the defense said they had no evidence to present.
Bowers is accused of shooting and killing 11 people who were worshipping at a Jewish synagogue in Squirrel Hill back in 2018.
The trial now shifts to the penalty phase where Bowers could receive a sentence of life in prison or the death penalty. Since the shooting, Bowers has been held in the Butler County Prison.
