Executives with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission are receiving major pay raises.
The organization’s chief officers approved over $367,000 in raises among themselves in an executive session back in March according to the Post-Gazette.
Turnpike CEO Mark Compton received an $88,000 raise, bringing his total salary to nearly $350,000.
Six executives on the commission make more than $250,000 now.
Turnpike Commission salaries are funded by toll fees, which have gone up each year over the last 16 years.
