Turnpike officials say the new overhead tolling system will soon start being installed in the western side of the state.
The new tolling stations will allow drivers to be tolled without slowing down or going through toll booths.
The systems are called gantries and are a part of the state’s Open Road Tolling plan.
The gantries were first installed in the east and now are making it to the west, in hopes of launching this upcoming January.
