Slippery Rock University football standouts Joe Cooper and JayJay Jordan picked up multiple All-America honors Wednesday when the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association and Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced their 2025 Division II All-America teams.
Cooper, a senior offensive tackle, was named to all three teams with a first team selection to both the AP and AFCA teams, and a second team not on the D2CCA team. Jordan, a junior running back, was named to first team honors as an all-purpose player on the AP team, and second team honors as a running back on the AFCA team.
For Cooper, he becomes a two-time All-America honoree after earning two second team honors in 2024. Cooper recently finished fourth in the voting for the Gene Upshaw Lineman of the Year Award.
