The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a public health alert for dinosaur-shaped nuggets sold at Walmart stores nationwide.
29-oz. plastic bags containing 36 “Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets” could contain unsafe levels of lead.
The chicken nuggets were produced on Feb. 10, 2026, and have a best if used by date of Feb. 10, 2027. This is not a recall because the products are no longer available for purchase but anyone who has them in their freezers should either throw them away or return them to Walmart.
The problem was discovered during routine surveillance sampling.
