The man on an e-bike who died in an accident with a Butler County Sheriff’s vehicle has been identified.
Police say 25-year-old Jaycob Heasley was riding his e-bike in New Castle Tuesday evening around 6:30 when he collided with the rear passenger side of the Sheriff’s vehicle.
Heasley was taken to the hospital where he later died.
New Castle Police say their investigation into the accident is ongoing, although they noted the speed of the e-bike may played a role in the crash.
