Virginia L. Lokovich, 93, of Butler, PA passed away on April 18, 2026 at Concordia at Cabot.
She was born on June 10, 1932 in Butler, PA to the late Earl L. Wheeler and Maxine (Leight) Wheeler.
She graduated from Butler High School and went on to receive her nursing training at Butler Memorial Hospital, becoming a registered nurse. She dedicated her life to caring for others, serving her community at the Butler VA Hospital, Butler Memorial Hospital, and as a private duty nurse.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, camping, crocheting, and reading. She was known as the caretaker of everybody—always the one others could count on for comfort, support, and compassion.
She is survived by two daughters, Beth (Thomas) Muti and Brenda (Simpson) Keith, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul X. Lokovich, two sons, Lawrence Lokovich and Gary Lokovich.
A visitation will be held on Sunday April 26, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A funeral service will be held on Monday April 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001, with Pastor Bob Edmundson officiating.
A Burial will immediately follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local food bank of choice.
