Wendy Bellis, 51, of Chicora, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Born in Butler on Dec. 8, 1974, she was the daughter of David L. Collier and Phyllis I. Smith Ness.
Wendy was employed as a phone operator at VA Butler Healthcare.
She enjoyed traveling, camping, beach vacations, casino trips, and spoiling her dogs, Sam and Cash, and her cats. Most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her parents, David L. Collier, of Chicora, and Phyllis Ness and her husband, Dennis, of Butler; two daughters, Amanda Bellis and her significant other, Jon Sullivan, of Chicora, and Chelsea Bellis and her significant other, Dylan McHaddon, of Karns City; two grandchildren, Lucas Henry and Carson McHaddon; her companion, Ryan Neely, of Chicora; one brother, Dave Collier and his wife, Nikki, of Chicora; and one niece, Oshlynn Leroy, of New Mexico.
Wendy is also survived by her former husband and the father of her children, Colby Bellis, of Chicora.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home Downtown, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, on Tuesday, April 14, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
