William E. Pollack, 91, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Born on November 10, 1934, in Butler, Pennsylvania, William was raised on the family farm, a place that shaped his strong work ethic and love of the outdoors. He graduated from Butler High School in 1952 and went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career with Armco, where he worked for 42 years after retiring. He was a faithful member of the Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church, Butler.
On July 12, 2015, William married Linda Kildoo Nagy, and together they shared a true love of many years.
William cherished simple pleasures. He loved farming, hunting, and telling jokes that brought laughter to family and friends. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan. (when they were winning)
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pollack; his children, Kevin Pollack and his partner Jackie Curtis of Slippery Rock, PA; Colleen Henderson and her husband, Eric Henderson, of Bradenton, FL; Pamela Huff and her husband, Tom Huff of Butler, PA; and Jodi Kildoo of Butler, PA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
William was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Nellie Heinz Pollack; a sister, Laura (Lollie) Cataura; a daughter, Jayneen and a son Bill Jr; his first wife Rosanna June Pollack; and his second wife, Kaye Pollack.
William will be remembered for his warm sense of humor, his love of family, and his values he learned growing up on the family farm. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 27th at 6pm at Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 West Old Rt. 422, Butler PA.
