Sarah “Eileen” E. Grabe, 90, of Butler passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. She was born in Clarion on December 22, 1935, to the late Bennet and Viola (Dello) Moyer.
Eileen was a homemaker and dedicated mother and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. She was known for being patient, courageous, friendly and caring; she always had a positive attitude and a smile on her face.
Eileen was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a member of the Butler Congregation.
Eileen was the beloved wife of Richard Grabe, whom she married on June 23, 1956; mother of Idella Grabe, Jael (Mike) Hawryliak, Joel Grabe, Amos (Dru) Grabe and Melinda (Darrin) Knight; grandmother of Shane and Dustin (Caitlin) Hawryliak, Vincent (Meghan), Brett (Brie) and Bennett Grabe.
Along with her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her 4 siblings.
