Cindy A. Strausser, 69, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She was born in Hamburg, NY on November 16, 1956. Cindy was employed as a CNA/Med Tech. She lived her life fullest with strong faith.
Cindy is the wife of Jeffrey Strausser, whom she married on September 23, 1979; mother of David Schaffer, Christopher (Amanda) and Johnny Strausser and Jake (Jenna) Patterson; sister of Jim Schaffer; grandmother of Samatha Seekings, Jasper, Aleasha (Kaleb) Dukes-Burke and Annabelle Strausser; great grandmother of Haras and Winslie.
Cindy was preceded in death by her children: Sara Schaffer-Seekings and an infant child.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
