We’re less than two weeks away from the deadline to apply for mail-in ballots, and Butler County’s Director of Elections says it’s important to do so as soon as possible.
Aaron Sheasley said his office has been receiving hundreds of applications per day, and instead of waiting until the October 27th deadline, doing it now would be the safest way to ensure your vote gets counted in time.
Sheasley said his office has received multiple mail-in applications from voters. He said once you send an application in, you don’t need to send anymore.
The Bureau of Elections sent out about 10,000 ballots earlier this week.
