Robert H. Slupe

Robert H. Slupe, 94, of Butler passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born in Butler on December 23, 1926 to the late Paul and Permilla Slupe. Robert enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, and meeting friends for coffee. He was also known for his excellent work ethic. Robert was the father of Brenda (Dennis) Cornibe, Bonnie (Joe) Michel, Randall (Susan) Slupe, Beth Nowakowski, and Sandra Slupe; brother of Ruth Shorts; and grandfather of Jill, Dana, Ben, Amanda, Dustin, Emily, Dalton, and Austin. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and a large and loving family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 70 years, Phyllis (Hinchberger) Slupe; 6 brothers and a sister. Friends received on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A Catholic Blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home, burial will be held privately. Robert’s family asks that all who attend please wear a mask.
