Students from the area were honored at Butler County Community College for their performance in the annual Stock Market Game.
BC3 has run the financial simulation game for years, and gave acknowledgement to nearly 1,300 students from 4th through 12th grades at a ceremony last month.
The teamwork and collaboration of students is an important part of the 30 week long Stock Market Game. The game is broken into three separate divisions based on grades.
A team from Oakview Elementary placed first in the Western region, and first in the state-wide elementary school division. Another team from Ryan Gloyer Middle School also placed first in the region and the state Middle School division.
