The Butler Area Public Library is launching their weekly summer programming this week with a fun event for all ages.
A Camp Kindness Kickoff Party is planned for Wednesday at noon with Camping 101 at noon and Camping Activity Stations at 1 p.m. A PA Master Naturalist and expert camper will provide basic information as well as tips, tricks, and recipes. Activity stations will include crafts, snacks, photo opportunities, and the chance to win prizes.
Weekly Camp Kindness activities will continue through the first Thursday of August.
The library is also hosting an informational session tonight at 6 p.m. about Elder Fraud presented by the FBI.
