The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh will be upping security at their schools across the region.
The diocese made the announcement last week saying that they will be hiring four security supervisors along with six armed guards that will patrol the 45 schools it oversees.
The supervisors all come from law enforcement backgrounds, including former state police troopers and county officers.
