A woman is facing charges in Grove City after her business allegedly stole nearly $8,000 without completing any work.
Police are accusing 30-year-old Ashley Roth of Enon Valley for taking money from three separate people after agreeing to a contract to complete flooring work.
Through the company Aey Plus Flooring, Roth would determine a total price for a project and then ask for a down payment. After receiving the down payments Roth would tell the victims someone would come start the work in a one or two weeks then cash the payments.
It’s alleged she took checks of $2,763, $2,184, and $1,961 without completing any work.
She’s facing several charges including theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking.
