A Slippery Rock man has been placed in prison after it’s alleged an argument led to him pointing a gun and strangling a woman.
On Wednesday, State Police were called to a home on the 200 block of Dickey Road for a man pointing a gun.
When police interviewed the alleged victim, she said that she and 48-year-old Jerome Lynch got into an argument after she said Lynch couldn’t fix his truck.
That’s when Lynch chased the woman and when he caught her it’s alleged he head butted the victim and choked her and later pointed a gun at her head. Police identified red marks and cuts on the victim’s body when being interviewed.
Lynch was then taken into custody and placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail as he awaits his June 25 preliminary hearing.
