With the strong storms over the last couple of weeks, there have been many areas impacted by flooding.
As a result, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday is urging consumers use caution when buying a used car.
He says some individuals could be trying to sell a car that was recently impacted by flooding. Sunday offers some tips to help you be aware:
- Look at the trunk or spare tire for moisture, silt or corrosion.
- Check the engine for moisture damage.
- Check under the floorboard carpet for possible moisture or grit.
- Look for rust on screws, hinges, or seat springs.
