A Butler man has been charged with shoving and injuring a disabled person on his way to a probation check in the City of Butler.
On Tuesday, just after 1:30 p.m. on North Main Street, 28-year-old Stephen Call called police to tell them that he had thrown a woman to the ground because he believed she was laughing at him.
During the conversation Call told police he had a probation meeting for a separate case and left the scene. Police said they would contact him at a later time if necessary.
The disabled victim was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a broken forearm and knee contusion.
Call was charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. He’s being held on $25,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing for these new charges.
