Caral A. Spahn, 77, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 20, 2025.
She was born on September 13, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late George and Pearl (Jones) Thompson.
Caral graduated from Butler High School in 1965. Following her graduation, Caral attended Butler County Community College, where she graduated in 1983 with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She went on to work for the Butler County YMCA as an Accountant for 24 years. She was a longtime member of the Humane Society of the United States, as well as the World Wildlife Fund. Caral enjoyed reading, going to casinos, playing cards with her friends, as well as spending time with her loving family.
Caral is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry H. Spahn, whom she married on June 22, 1968; her son Brad Spahn; her two grandchildren, Kameran Spahn and Katelyn Spahn; her three brothers, Gary, George, and Thomas; as well as by her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Caral was preceded in death by her son, Larry Spahn, Jr.
A private burial will take place at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
