The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 in exhibition hockey last night. 18-year old 2025 first-round pick Ben Kindel scored his first NHL goal in the game. Goaltender Tristan Jarry played the entire game, stopping 21 of 22 shots.
