Stephen Candalor

Stephen Candalor, age 68, of Portersville passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, following an illness.
Born June 30, 1957, in Ridgway, PA; he was the son of the late Sam and Viola “Tina” Millard Candalor.
He graduated from Clarion State College and had a career in retail management.
In his younger years he devoted his life to woodworking, crafts, and pottery. Later, he friended Nina Heathcote and became a close friend and father figure to her children.
He is survived by six siblings Rita (John) Armanini of Mechanicsburg, PA, Cecelia Candalor of Pittsburgh, PA, Michael (Laurie) Candalor of Springfield, VA, Patricia Candalor of Pittsburgh, PA, David (Jackie) Candalor of St Marys, PA, Mark (Mary Kay) Candalor of St Marys, PA; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; dear friends John and Laurel Englert, and his second family Nina Heathcote, her children and their families.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect, from 11am until time of the Memorial Service at 12Noon, in the Funeral Home. There will also be a Candalor Family gathering at a later date.
