Seneca Valley is bringing in a former employee of a neighboring district as their newest assistant principal.
The school board recently appointed Dr. Samantha Flanhofer as the new assistant principal at Ryan Gloyer Middle School.
Flanhofer comes to the position from neighboring Mars Area School District where she was employed for the last 10 years in a variety of roles including interim assistant principal and fourth grade teacher at Mars Elementary School and life skills teacher at Mars High School.
Flanhofer attended IUP for her undergrad, Pitt for her Masters, and SRU for her Doctorate in Special Education. She is replacing Rob Rasso who recently retired after 35 years at Seneca Valley.
