Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives.
A local Vitalant blood drive is planned for Sunday from 7 a.m. to noon at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church on East Cruikshank Road.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a drive this month a chance to win one of two $10,000 prepaid gift cards in the Shopping Spree Giveaway.
