A Butler man has pled guilty to violating federal firearms laws two years ago.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 32-year-old Thomas Clark recently entered a guilty plea to possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon in January of 2024.
Clark will be sentenced in May and could face a maximum of 15 years in prison as well as a fine of up to $250,000.
The case was brought as part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the PA State Police, and the Butler City Police Department.
