Butler County Emergency Services is reminding pet owners to keep their animals warm during the winter.
It is illegal to leave a pet unattended in freezing temperatures for more than 30 minutes.
If you see an animal left out in the cold, you can call the SPCA Animal Cruelty Hotline at 866-601-7722. You can also call local police.
