The Pittsburgh Penguins complete a three-game home-stand tonight when they host the Ottawa Senators for a 7pm face-off. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:30pm.
The Penguins are coming off a 6-5 victory over the New York Rangers Saturday at PPG Paints Arena. The Pens had built a 5-1 lead into the third period, before the Rangers mounted a comeback. They scored twice in the game’s final two minutes after Penguins rookie Ben Kindel scored an empty-net goal to make it 6-3 with 2-1/2 minutes remaining in the game.
The Pens continue to hold second place in the Metropolitan Division. They are two points in front of the New York Islanders, whom the Penguins visit tomorrow night.
